when voices draw is a transmedial investigation between object, perception, voice and line.

It is based on the assumption that the voice can be an auditory trace of the gaze when the seeing subject looks at an object and scans it with the eyes. The extent to which the trace can be transformed into the voice and ultimately into the line is explored. This translation creates new forms of communicative expression and examines how surface structures and forms, as well as the overall effect of an object, can be translated non-verbally into the voice and this in turn from the auditory back into a new visual expression in the form of the line.
