Studio chunk is a crochet fashion brand that expresses a new understanding of handcraft. The use of unconventional yarns such as used denim or jersey creates individual eye-catchers that are also sustainable, in the spirit of slow fashion.

when voices draw is a transmedial investigation between object, perception, voice and line.

It is based on the assumption that the voice can be an auditory trace of the gaze when the seeing subject looks at an object and scans it with the eyes. The extent to which the trace can be transformed into the voice and ultimately into the line is explored.

The exhibition concept ‘Vom Wasser’ was created as a group project during a semester course by Carla Meurer. It was realised in January 2022 in the premises of ‘The Pool’ in Düsseldorf. The basic requirement for the exhibition was the sensory experience of the element of water without it being physically present. The scenographic realisation plays with sounds, light effects, haptic elements and smells.

Centrally located in the city centre of Kiel, »spce« | Muthesius forms a sounding board that picks up on impulses from the university from all areas of design, artistic and scientific research, reinforcing them interactively and opening them up to a local as well as (inter)national audience. »spce« creates a place that, in addition to its representative function, understands exhibiting quite specifically as a process-oriented research practice and uses curatorial means to design aesthetic-sensual spaces of experience and thought for a collective social discourse.

‘What moves me’ is a performance of Soffia Heese and Danu Rehbein’s interlocking bachelor theses, which stages research into the physical perception and experience of space and examines the possibilities of architectural design. My work shows a way of combining sensual experience with the computational qualities of a computer. In search of a new way to generate forms, dance movements are tracked by a camera sensor, connected to a computer, projected live and finally materialised in a 3D printer. the performance was shown on two evenings at the Städtische Galerie Kiel and accompanied by a four-day exhibition.
